November 30, 2011

I am pleased to announce the formation of MGM Hospitality’s Caribbean & Latin America Development team. While MGM Hospitality has spent the last four years focused on the Company’s growth in Asia and the Middle East, we believe that now it is the opportune time to commence our efforts to expand MGM Resorts’ brands into the Caribbean and Latin American markets. To that end, I am excited to announce the promotion of Deborah Négrel to Vice President of Caribbean & Latin America Development and welcome Charles Hernandez to the team as Director of Caribbean & Latin America Development.

As Vice President of Caribbean & Latin America Development, Deborah is responsible for leading all aspects of MGM Hospitality’s development activities in the Caribbean and Latin America, including developing and executing a strategic plan for the region, evaluating target markets for MGM Hospitality’s brands, identifying potential owners and partners in each of these markets, and structuring, negotiating and closing management and other related agreements with selected partners.

Most recently, Deborah was Director of Special Projects and Communication for MGM Hospitality, leading key development assignments associated with MGM Hospitality Development Management Agreements worldwide. Prior to that, Deborah held the same position at CityCenter, where she oversaw the strategic, analytical and communication activities of the CityCenter project development team. Before joining MGM Resorts International, Deborah was a Consultant with Aon Corporation, providing risk management financing and advisory services to Fortune 500 companies. Previously, she was an Associate with Telecom Italia Ventures, identifying U.S. investment and partnership targets for the corporate venture capital arm of Telecom Italia. Prior to that, Deborah served as a Research Analyst for the business valuation company Sanli Pastore & Hill, valuing privately held companies and real estate holdings.

As Director of Caribbean and Latin America Development, Charles will support all aspects of MGM Hospitality’s development activities in the Caribbean and Latin America, including developing a strategic plan for the region, identifying and analyzing target markets’ risks and opportunities, pursuing leads which are in line with MGM Hospitality’s strategic development plan, and providing timely and accurate assessments of prospective business development opportunities.

Charles recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from Harvard College. While pursuing his degree, Charles was President of the Harvard College Law Society as well as Founder and Editor of the Harvard Undergraduate Law Review. He served as a Law Clerk for Creel, García Cuéllar Abogados and for Galicia Abogados and worked as a film production and development intern at Marvel Studios.

Charles is admitted as a candidate for a Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School, commencing in the fall of 2013.
